Board of Commissioners Meeting Notice

On Monday, August 10, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. the Kill Devil Hills Board of Commissioners will hold its only regular meeting of the month in the Meeting Room at the Administration Building, 102 Town Hall Drive, off Colington Road. In order to maintain the safety of Town residents, Staff, and Board of Commissioners, social distancing guidelines must be followed.

Unfortunately, this meeting of the Board of Commissioners will not be livestreamed on the Town’s Facebook page. Upon receiving citizen feedback following the last livestreamed meeting, we recognized that the video quality is not sufficient. We believe that livestreaming the Board of Commissioners’ meetings provides an invaluable tool to our community. The video feed assists us in displaying transparency. In addition, it gives you the opportunity to view your local representatives taking action on matters that affect your community. Knowing this, please be assured that the Town is taking the necessary steps to be able to offer high-quality livestreamed meetings in the future.

A video of the meeting will be posted on the Town’s YouTube page (www.youtube.com/user/townofkdh) later this week for anyone who is not able to attend. Should you have any questions or comments, please contact Town Clerk Mary Quidley at 252-449-5302 or by email at mary@kdhnc.com
