Presidents' Day Holiday and Refuse Collection Schedule

The Town of Kill Devil Hills offices will be closed on Monday, February 15, 2021,in observance of Presidents' Day.
All Town Offices will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

Solid Waste Schedule

Residential:    Monday, February 15, 2021 – No Collection - Holiday
                        Tuesday, February 16, 2021 – Normal Collection (West Side of Town)
                        Wednesday, February 17, 2021 – Adjusted Collection (East Side of Town)

Commercial:  Monday, 02/15/2021 – No Collection - Holiday

                        Tuesday, 02/16/2021 through Friday, 02/19/2020 – Normal Collections
 
Recycle Center & Dry Trash Drop Off Center will be closed on Monday, February 15, 2021 and will reopen at 8:00 am on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

BOC Meeting 

The Town of Kill Devil Hills Board of Commissioners have a regular scheduled meeting  for Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be electronic using Zoom software. Details regarding the meeting can be found here.

Dare County and surrounding Towns have transitioned to OBXAlerts, a new and improved Emergency Alert and Notification Platform. Individuals who are currently subscribed to emergency alerts with Kill Devil Hills and Dare County will need to re-register with OBXAlerts. Use of the current system will end on February 28, 2021.
