KDH Offices Accessible by Appointment Only
Governor Cooper recently reinforced the Centers for Disease Control’s revision of COVID protocols. Local governments in Dare County have done the same and have made adjustments to existing policy and procedure. In areas of substantial or high transmission rates covering your face in indoor spaces, regardless of vaccination status, is now recommended. Dare County is now considered a high COVID transmission area.
Therefore, beginning today, Monday, August 16, 2021, Kill Devil Hills town offices will now require staff and members of the public to cover your faces while in public spaces in our facilities. This will be required regardless of vaccination status. Walk-in traffic at town offices will be restricted: if you have business with the town call, email, or visit our website to gain assistance or to schedule an in-person appointment. Each department’s information and updates to their daily operations can be found at www.kdhnc.com.
