PLANNED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

 Monday, November 8, 2021

 
 
The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a temporary road closure beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021, for Sunset Ave. at the north side of its intersection with W. Third St. for utility and roadway improvements by Fred Smith Company.
 
Through traffic on Sunset Ave. at the north side of the intersection will be prohibited during this closure. Local traffic may use Sea Swept Dr. or Bay Dr., to Clam Shell Dr. to detour around the closure and access the portions Sunset Ave. north of W. Third St.  Sunset Ave. will remain open from the north for access to adjacent residences.
 
The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021.
