Aviation Park and KDH Office Closures on 2/10

Aviation Park will be closing to the public for recreational use, with the exception of the dog park, at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10^th, while a memorial service is held in honor of our longtime Town Clerk, Mary Quidley. In addition, KDH Town Hall offices will be closing at 4:15 p.m., so that employees may attend the service.

PLANNED TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE 

West Third Street
Thursday, February 10, 2022

The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a temporary road closure beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, for W. Third Street at the intersection with Sunset Avenue for utility and roadway improvements by Fred Smith Company.
 
Through traffic on W. Third Street at the intersection will be prohibited during this closure. Local traffic will access Sunset Avenue from the north using Clam Shell Drive and to the south using Indian Drive. Sea Swept Road to the east of the closure can be used to detour from W. Third Street to Clam Shell Drive and on to Bay Drive.
 
W. Third Street will remain open from the west for access to adjacent properties throughout the closure.
 
The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10th, 2022.
