Planned Temporary Road Closures

Wrightsville Blvd. 

Wednesday, December 4, 2024

The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a continued temporary road closure of Wrightsville Blvd. at the north side of the intersection with E. Atlantic St. beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 for utility and roadway improvements by Hatchell Concrete Inc. 

Wrightsville Boulevard will remain open for local access to homes and businesses.  Access to properties will be available north of the closure from E. Martin St. and areas south of the closure will remain open to normal traffic from E. Atlantic St. to Carolyn Dr. 

The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. 

South Memorial Blvd. at East Clark St.

There will also be a temporary road closure of South Memorial Boulevard at the intersection of East Clark Street beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5. The closure will take place at the intersection of South Memorial Boulevard and East Clark Street, for utility and roadway improvements by Enviro-Tech Unlimited Construction.

East Clark Street and South Memorial Boulevard will remain open for local access to homes. You may access South Memorial Boulevard addresses north of the intersection from East Baum Street and south of the intersection from East Martin Street.

The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
