The Town of Kill Devil Hills is accepting applications for the following position:


PART-TIME FACILITY MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

This position is in the Buildings & Grounds Division and performs unskilled and semi-skilled work in the maintenance and care of Town beach accesses, grounds, parks, and related Town properties.  Work schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., possible rotation in schedule and possible additional hours during weekdays. Duties consist of maintaining public buildings and restrooms and general grounds maintenance. Potential candidates should have a High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. A Certified Pool Operator certification is desired but not required. A valid N.C. driver’s license is required.  

Starting pay rate is $18 per hour.
